Self-Archiving Policy

The journal Smart Economy, Entrepreneurship and Security supports the principles of open access and promotes the wide dissemination of research outputs by permitting the self-archiving of author manuscripts without access restrictions.

The publisher allows the author to deposit the final version of the article (Author’s Accepted Manuscript, AAM) in an institutional or subject repository where it is made openly accessible, ensuring maximum visibility and impact of the publication.

Permitted Versions

Authors may deposit different versions of their manuscripts in open access. The preprint version (submitted manuscript prior to peer review) may be shared without restrictions. The Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM), which is the final peer-reviewed version, may be deposited without embargo. The Version of Record (VoR), i.e., the published version, may also be shared provided that a link to the official publication is included.

Conditions of Self-Archiving

Self-archiving is permitted without embargo, provided that proper attribution is ensured. Authors must include a full bibliographic citation of the article, provide an active link to the official version via DOI, and must not introduce changes that could alter the meaning of the published work. It is recommended to indicate the version of the manuscript (preprint, AAM, or VoR).

Depositing Locations

Authors may deposit their work in institutional and subject repositories, on personal or institutional websites, and on scholarly communication platforms that provide open access to research outputs.

Compliance with International Standards

This policy complies with the principles of Green Open Access and the requirements of international open access policy registries, including Sherpa/RoMEO, and is intended to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and scholarly impact of published research.
