Peer Review Procedure
The peer review process for manuscripts submitted to the journal Smart Economy, Entrepreneurship and Security is conducted in accordance with the journal’s Peer Review Policy, which defines the review model, principles, and key rules governing the scholarly evaluation of submissions.
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and principles of academic integrity. This stage also includes a similarity check using the iThenticate system to identify potential text overlap and plagiarism.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are sent for independent scholarly peer review. The journal applies a double-blind peer review model, under which authors are not aware of the reviewers’ identities, and reviewers do not have access to information about the authors.
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers provide a reasoned assessment of the manuscript and submit their recommendations regarding its acceptance, the need for revision, or rejection.
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Board makes a decision regarding the дальнейшее рассмотрение manuscript. Where necessary, authors are invited to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts may be subject to additional rounds of peer review.
The final decision on publication is made by the Editorial Board after completion of the peer review process, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations and compliance with the journal’s editorial requirements.
